This is a beautiful sturdy Antique Snow Sled with Iron Runners. It is close to 4 feet long, 21” wide at the widest point. This style of sled is popular in the early 1900s. The rare thing about this sled is that the original paint is still visible at most part of the body. Check the pictures! You can still see the red arrow on the wooden seat and the red wings on the flexible handle bar! The belly side of the sled has all the manufacturer and model information. The company’s advertisement of farm equipment and garden supply is an another interesting thing to note!
From the underside, you can really see the brilliant red paint this sled used to carry. The owners initial AP is scorched in with hot iron. Square bolt hardware was common back then. : )
