    Description

    This foreign cap gun is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 219 “Foreign Cap Guns” (English1 “ALARM”). This cap gun is 6 3/4 inches in length. It is a single shot, single action, which means it has to be cocked every time to fire it. The word “ALARM” is clearly embossed on both sides of the grip. Other markings on both sides of the barrel "RD NO 202197". This nickel gun has beautiful decorative scroll work, is in excellent condition other than some of the nickel finish has worn off the tip of the barrel. Please refer to the pictures.
    This is a toy cap gun. It cannot be altered to shoot any type of projectile.
