    Description

    M1 Garand Operating Rod - 3565382 SA Op Rod Springfield Armory.
    This operating rod was pulled from a field grade CMP rifle that I recently acquired.  I am attempting to replace parts to match the IHC receiver.  This op rod is an SA (Springfield Armory) and per my research is specifically correct for post WWII rifles in the 4.2 - 5.8 serial range.  That said, it should be fully functional in any M1 Garand.
    I test fired the rifle 20+ times with no issues cycling with this op rod.  It does have the normal "shape" of a used op rod, but does not drag or bind and obviously passed CMP armorer inspection.
