Stangl Pottery Mediterranean Cup and Saucer Set Vintage Trenton NJ Sarnecki

A unique and vintage
Stangl Mediterranean cup and saucer set.  It is a dark blue over a dark green to give the pattern depth and look like the sea. There is black trim on the top outer cup edge and saucer rim. This pattern was introduced in 1966 and designed by Irene Sarnecki.  Very deep shine and a high gloss.  The mark on the back is the Stangl oval and says "HAND PAINTED STANGL Trenton, NJ since 1805" and the pattern name MEDITERRANEAN; also the white Stangl seconds oval mark
The saucer measures approximately 6-1/8" diameter; the cup 3" in height x 3-1/4" diameter
From a smoke free, pet free environment
No cracks, hairlines, crazing or repairs. There is a factory blemish on the cup rim which appears blackened and a bit of rim roughness but no other actual chips, Saucer is unblemished. See photos
