Stangl Pottery NJ USA Festival Cup and Saucer

Description

A Stangl Pottery, New Jersey, USA, cup and saucer in Festival pattern. Hand painted dinnerware in a red body. Festival was introduced in 1961.Cup has yellow apple with green leaves on white with red body. Saucer has yellow band with green, white, brown borders on white with red body. Stangl discontinued use of a red body in October 1974.
Two chips on rear of cup handle. Three chips on rim of base of cup. No cracks. No chips on saucer. Artist went outside the lines with one of the brown borders on saucer.
Cup measures approx. 2.5" tall x 3.5" wide at widest x 4.5" long. Saucer measures approx. 6.25" in diameter. Cup holds 6 fluid ounces.

I search garage sales, estate sales, auctions, and thrift stores for the items I list for sale.
Items are thoroughly cleaned/washed.
