    The secret to the success of Towne Square's popular Glider Rocker is its exclusively designed base mechanism. Carefully installed by hand underneath the chair frame, this specially tooled solid hardwood base features Towne Square's exclusive wear-free, worry-free tempered aircraft-quality aluminum brackets and 8 lubricated nylon bushings (no metal-to-metal or plastic bearings to cause damaging friction). Then it is perfectly hand leveled and balanced to deliver the smoothest, longest lasting, most comfortable gliding motion possible.
    The Glider Rocker combines the back-and-forth movement of an old fashioned rocking chair or platform rocker w/ the additional comfort of the smooth to-and-fro gliding motion of a swing. Features include:
