This machine is the perfect combination of electric and manual, offering the speed and convenience of the automatic heating component that is standard for Unibind system, and the economical addition of a manual crimper that is simply applied with the pull of a handle. Still considered one of the easiest ways to make a book, with the Unibind model 120 you can produce a huge variety of thermal binding covers. Some of the most popular options include clear soft cover books with the UniCover Flex Covers, plain spines with your own covers with the UniCover Spines, or premium rigid covers with the UniCover Hard Covers. This versatility of style, combined with the smaller capabilities to handle just four basic cover sizes, help keep the price of the machine low, making it a great fit for a variety of industries with lower volume binding needs. Whether you use the UniBinder 120 for client presentations, school reports in your classroom, or anything else, it is a popular choice.
UniBinder 120 Instructions:
① Simply insert your printed pages into the thermal spine of your choice, and place it spine-down into the red heating compartment, and allow to sit for 90 seconds.
② After the three minutes are up, move the book into the middle compartment, which is the manual crimper. Pull the handle toward you to crimp the spine. This not only provides an attractive finish, but presses the pages and spine together in the ideal way to make a strong finish.
③ Now just move the book to the blue compartment where it can cool until no longer warm.
*May vary depending on number of books, spine size, operator, and other factors.
