  • Condition: At around 60 years of age this vintage toy musket pistol is in very good condition. It works as it was intended to when new. The wood is not cracked and the metal parts are very nice also. See photos.

    Description

    This toy musket pistol was made by Kadet Co. in Savannah Tenn. in the 1950's and 60's.  It has a horse head hammer and it measures 14 inches long.  It uses standard cap gun cap rolls that are torn off and placed one at a time on the firing pad.  The functions of the trigger and cocking spring are perfect.  The wood is medium brown in color without cracks or splits.  There is only the slightest amount of oxidation on the barrel.  It will be a great addition to your previous century toy collection.  It does not fire any projectile.
    This replica gun contains the colored markings required by law, including a permanently attached orange plug.
