Vintage "Yankee Doodle Aerial" from the William (W. P.) Woerner Manufacturing works, AKA American Novelty Works.
Included are: Copies of 2 original sales sheets showing the "Yankee Doodle Aerial",  This is an original, authentic piece that was passed down through the family.
It is approximately 100 years old and is in excellent condition given the age. The metalwork on the Yankee Doodle Aerial is still bright and clean with no sign of rust. Red white and blue feathers have some deterioration having been in storage a long time. The Yankee Doodle Aerial measures 13 1/4".
It has never been fired. Also included is a roll of standard caps and some biographical info about W. P. Woerner and his toy factory.
Pop Woerner is in the pic with his grandson, also Willam Woerner who he raised as a son.
