VOLQUARTSEN VC10EE VC2EE Exact Edge Extractor for Ruger 10/22 both LR and Mag and Charger also fits, Ruger MK 1 2 3, 22/45 pistols. The hook is .005" closer to the rim of the cartridge to allow for the most positive extraction available. Made of A2 tool steel. The Extractor and Extractor spring are the same for the Mark pistols and the 10-22 when buying replacements from Ruger.
EARLY MARK 1 and STANDARDS use a different spring, at some point they went to the longer spring. If your plunger can be pushed through the firing pin stop hole you use this spring. If the holes DO NOT connect you probably have the SHORT plunger and short spring,, too bad for you, the extractor is the same.
The Exact Edge Extractor is manufactured through an EDM process to produce exacting tolerances. The new extractor will not lose its edge under impact such as other extractors made from stamped steel or titanium that will have their edges roll over and actually cause extraction problems after a short period of use. The extractor features a very precise hook point. It is hardened to a Rc 58-60 to withstand years of use and still maintain its edge. Volquartsen is able to hold the tolerances to +/-.0001" by utilizing the EDM manufacturing process. **WE ARE A VOLQUARTSEN DISTRIBUTOR**
